Staff from Moreno Ranches, (as you know) a top producer of Gray and Red Brahman cattle for sale, attended the recent Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo that just went on, and ran through February 6th. We showcased some of our finest Brahman cattle for sale, exhibiting heifers backed by the M-check brand, as well as offering opportunities for genetic products.
We’ve been showing at the Fort Worth show for several years and have found that it is a great way to kick-start the new year. After too much eggnog and fruitcake over the holidays, you get to feeling kind of slow and dopey, so the Fort Worth show is always a great opportunity to brush away the cobwebs. This event is huge (the technical term is “ginormous,” and this year was no exception), and the show is so large there’s never quite enough time to see everything of interest and talk to everyone we’d like to talk to. We saw old and new faces there, and enjoyed chatting with them about all the trends in the Brahman cattle business. After the chit-chat, we did our best to make good on our offer of Brahman cattle for sale. We made deals!
