At Moreno Ranches, we believe in the future. Part of that future is superior genetics and the constant improvement of the Brahman cattle breed through sophisticated animal husbandry technology. Technology is part of that future, a passion for the Brahman breed is part of that future, and so are our youth. As such, we’d like to introduce one of our new international interns, Carlos Pineda.
On September 20, 2001, Carlos Pineda was born in Siguatepeque, Comayagua, Honduras. He is the second in a family of three children. He is currently studying the last quarter of his agronomic bachelor ́s degree at the Zamorano Pan American Agricultural School specifically in Agribusiness Administration. His parents work in a hardware store in the area, which provides financial support to the family. He attended high school at the bilingual institute El Alba, where he developed an interest and passion for science and administration, with the goal of self-improvement, focused on applying to the Zamorano University.
From a very young age, Carlos was involved in the activities of the family friends’ ranch, where he was able to develop empirical skills to work in the fields, which he later reinforced with the technical knowledge acquired during his high school and university studies. Having a great passion for science and business, Carlos decided to study at the Zamorano University, acquiring habits of discipline, honesty, and responsibility.Carlos is aware of the trust that his parents have placed in him, which is why he has always strived to excel academically and disciplinarily, in addition to demonstrating the values and professionalism that are fundamental pillars of his alma mater.
Carlos stands out for his excellent personal relationships, being recognized by his teachers and classmates. Once graduated and exercising his profession, Carlos considers helping his community financially and with his knowledge to develop the economy and improve the lifestyle of others. Carlos attended the conference given by Moreno Ranches at the University of Zamorano in 2022. After listening to the experiences and the activities that are carried out and the knowledge that is acquired, Carlos decided to apply for the internship program offered by Moreno Ranches.
Carlos is a person with a passion to work and learn about Brahman cattle management and will use this knowledge and experience in his professional life.
