Alfredo Miranda Salazar was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia in 1997. He is studying agricultural science and production at the University of Zamorano. He comes from a family dedicated to agriculture in the grain production sector (soy, corn and sorghum). He considers himself a proactive, hardworking, honest and responsible person. He is very curious and likes to learn from people and their experiences. In his free time, he likes to hunt, drive cars and play football.
His knowledge in cattle began with the different animal production modules offered at his university, both beef and dairy cattle. This learning experience awakened an interest in animal production, particularly the fields of management and genetic selection of livestock. He would like to develop more skills that would guarantee continuous development in his professional life. One of his goals is to learn about artificial insemination and embryo transferring to help his country have better, more sustainable cattle that can adapt to the tropical conditions, such as Brahman cattle. This is one of the reasons he decided to apply to Moreno Ranches where he expects to contribute while he learns.
